Jonathon would wait was well, and when there was an opening he would attack with the torch though making sure to avoid harming his companions.
Out of Character: what would the damage be on a torch?
After the door opens, Drethen is able to cut one zombie down with a mighty swing of his sword, but his sword gets stuck in the zombie's corpse and he's not able to extract it quick enough to get his second swing off effectively.
Ardo's hammer goes high and Jonathon and Jess team up to take down a second zombie (Torches do 1d4 damage).
The undead, as before, do not respond for the initial round, but begin to close the door and eject anybody standing in the doorway from the cave.
"That is two more down. Jess if you would be so kind to once again open the door and then step back so we can kill some more." This time when the door opens Drethen will step inside so he is in the door way to better fight the undead.
Once the door is opened again delgar will sling one of the skeletons and try to stay our of their reach.
Jess knocks on the door again saying, "You know, one of you guys could do this instead of making me run up here, knock a couple of times and then run back to get a couple of shots off..."
But she completes the task and the doors once again slowly open. With the undead waiting expectantly, Drethen cuts two down with solid strikes from his sword while Delgar's bullet goes high. Jess is able to get back to her spot and release two solid hits on a third skeleton.
With Drethen standing in the doorway, the undead move up to attack. Three skeletons and a zombie attack Drethen managing to injure him slightly (3 HP). A fourth skeleton attacks Jonathon, but he manages to avoid the attack.
He would continue the attack, though be careful on his companions, as he swings the torch at the undeed through the door. Looking to Jess, he would offer a smile and say, "I would be fine with knocking next time, though perhaps it took a special touch from you my dear." Edited: Thomaslee on 18th Feb, 2016 - 12:13am
Ardo steps and keeps swinging at the undead. "Only a few more then I will try to turn the rest back so we can get in!"
