Drethen continues to swing his sword frantically taking down another skeleton in the process. Jess and Jonathon team up to take down another but Ardo's hammer swings wide and misses.
Luckily, Drethen is able to ward off all of the attacks by the slow moving undead.
Finding that things were actually going pretty well, Jonathon would comment, "Though there are many of them, we do seem to be overcoming this challenge well. Lets keep up the momentum!" With such words, he would continue his attack. Edited: Thomaslee on 21st Feb, 2016 - 2:42pm
Out of Character: : I'm going to run the battle off line to finish it up. It appears that with Drethen leading the way it will be pretty much a done deal that you get through.
In Character: : Drethen continues to swing his sword while expertly using his shield to ward off the attacks of the undead. The backup of Jonathon, Delgar, Ardo, and Jesse help to cut through the swath of undead that much quick.
In the end, the party is able to put them all down with just minor scrapes and scratches. (Drethen takes a total of 3hp of damage).
Once the undead are dealt with, the party is able to examine the room a little more closely.
Aside from several barrels (Empty with false lids about 1' down) stacked to one side, the antechamber holds nothing of interest. Both exits from this room lead to tunnels (Ten feet tall, eight feet wide) cut through the rock. The left hand passage has an arrow and the word "QUASQUETON" engraved at eye level only a few feet passed the entrance. This passage also ends about thirty feet further down in a massive cave-in. You can see, though, that it appears the undead were trying to clear the passage when they weren't guarding the door.
The right hand passage appears to be clear and goes on for quite some ways.
The passage is long. It seems to go on for several hundred yards. It's also relatively well used. It's easy to see signs of use and wear.
Jess doesn't find any signs of traps or other hazards.
After about 700 yards the party comes to a well light area of worked stone. (See map. The characters are entering from the southwest). Edited: Falrun on 25th Feb, 2016 - 1:54am
Jonathon would follow behind his companions, keeping near Jess. He was keeping quite for the most part, but would be ready to speak if needed.
