The Watcher from the Aether says... It's difficult to tell what they black verses red robes may mean. Since this is some kind of cult, it probably has something to do with the ceremony of the cult. Until you're able to discover more about it, there's no telling what the significance might be.
Also, as you were searching through the zombies, some of you may have noticed that some of the more 'freshly dead' resembled some past companions such as Yousim, Gervase, and Lunithion.

Once outside Ardo sets off for the town and tries to make arrangements to have Thane buried.
