"If you allow, I would like to be the voice of the party. A role I could excel at," Jonathon would offer, feeling quite confidant in doing such. With his charm and a little luck if they needed to talk their way out of a situation he could do it.
"On the rest I feel you have a great plan put together," the storyteller would offer, feeling it important to give credit where credit is due. Yet he would offer this question, "If we are seen, and an alarm is raised… What should we do?" Edited: Thomaslee on 17th Mar, 2016 - 3:49pm
Hunter listens to Ardo's detailed explanation.
"Indeed!" he agrees while shaking his head in acknowledgement.
At Jonathon's words he tilts his head left and right and replies, "Okay… " not really knowing much about the man he count not say ye or ney about his skills.
"So up that way then?" Hunter follows.
Delgar nods in agreement with ardos plan and hopes his spells prove more helpful hopefully against some evil living targets but he will take up his spot in the middle of the group and prepare to light a touch for when the party enters a cave.
Just as the sun is about to set Ardo starts to lead the group with Drethen towards the cave. He is excited knowing that every cave so far has provided some excitement and adventure.
In a low voice he leans close to the new comer of the group. "Hunter keep your eyes out towards the bandits cave over there to make sure we have not been spotted, the less noise we make the better, to bad I was not given the light footsteps of an elf to sneak across this place. Drethen let's lead the way into the cave once inside we can let Jess give a quick look for traps before we proceed."
Not given any particular instructions other then taking the rear, Jonathon would nod and stick close to those near him. The storyteller would most speak and keep his eyes sharp for trouble.
The party waits for sunset. During that time, there is no life evident in the valley. You spot any movement from the other caves that you can see from your vantage point and there's no animal life, at all.
As you creep closer to the mouth of the cave you begin to smell an odd odor, at first. Then, you gradually come to realize it's the smell of death. It's almost tangible by the time to reach the actual mouth of the cave.
Jess checks for traps but is unable to find any evidence. However, the further into the cave you go, the stronger the smell becomes until you find that you have to hold a cloth over your face in order to be able to stand the odor.
