
Hunter surveys the Bugbears. They each wear studded leather armor and carry spiked clubs. Despite being a touch over 7' tall, they seem to be surprisingly quiet and stealthy.
In response to this observation, Delgar remembers some texts that he'd read describing how effective Bugbear ambushes are due to their ability to move quietly.
In response to Hunter's request, the shamen responds, "I'm sorry, but me and my father have no spells that will make a weapon more effective." Then, almost as an afterthought, she adds, "Bugbears really don't need that kind of help… " Edited: Falrun on 9th Apr, 2016 - 6:48pm
Hunter grins at those words and thinks to himself… I hope that's true when we meet those priests. Without any more delays Hunter says, "Alright to the hidden cave then."
When they near the location Hunter will bravely ask the party to stay behind while he carefully checks it out using his special senses and sight. He peers into the cave.
This cave-opening gapes like a wide mouth with an idiot grin, a trickle of water dribbling out to form the little stream that flows down through the valley. From within comes no sound except the occasional plop! Of dripping water.
Hunter flags the party that its safe. Once they're there he takes a rare position. He asks the bugbears how good their sight is in the dark.
Ardo gets ready to go into the cave with the bugbears. "Drethen you ready for some fun? I know I sure am ready! With Hunter at the rear Jess, Delgar and Jonathon in the middle we are ready to go."
