Jonathon would pull out a torch, lighting it as quickly as he could, before putting it to bear again the skeletons as he calls loudly, "The skeletons are now alive, help me here! Just avoid looking at the image on the throne."
If he could, the storyteller would try tumbling out of the way of the skeletons and make it too the door or if there was time even make a bolt to it.
Out of Character: Yes, of course. Why am I not surprised, my apologizes everyone!

Ardo quickly readies his Holy symbol of Blerred and looks at his companions. "Time to get to work, I'll try to turn a batch of them." In a deep and booming voice Ardo commands the undead to return to the afterlife. "Blerred commands you to return to the grave!"
Hunter shakes his head in disbelief at what just happened and what is happening now. This time its not the image that stops him from moving but the fiasco. He does nothing but looks on for the moment.
The skeletons do not seem to be phased by Ardo's attempt to turn them. Two manage to get a swing in on Jonathon as he runs out of the room (4hp total).
The skeletons pursue Jonathon out of the room. As they do, two of the bugbears are able to take down the first skeleton behind him.
Now that the circus has begun Hunter decides to aid the runners a he pulls his bow and takes aim.
Ardo seeing the skeletons moving forward brandishes a shield and his new mace. "Well if divine power will not place you down, may brute force crush your remains!"
Hunter and Jess both shoot the same skeleton. Their arrows have little effect on the creatures made of bones and, although they damage it quite a bit, it remains standing.
The bugbears are also not having an easy time of things. It takes all three of them to gang up on one just to bring it down.
Drethen has a little better luck. He manages to smash one with his long sword, but again, he's not able to kill the creature due to the bony body resisting his his sharp blade.
Ardo, on the other hand, takes a mighty swing of his hammer and smashes the creature to pieces as the broad head of the weapon crashes into bone, shattering it like your mother's fine porcelain plate when you dropped it on the kitchen floor.
The creatures, not relenting, attack the party. Of the ten that remain, they can only attack the strong front set up by Drethen, Ardo, and the three bugbears.
Due to his expert combat skills and the quick use of his shield Drethen is unscathed by the skeleton's attacks. Ardo isn't quite so lucky. One of the skeletons is able to sneak in a damaging short sword into Ardo's ribs while he's defending against a different opponent (4hp).
Of the bugbears, two are able to avoid damage. The third, however, the same bugbear that was attacked by the Lurker, stumbles and is hit hard by both of the skeletons attacking him. Once he is able to recover his footing, he appears to have taken quite a beating and doesn't look much better than the two heavily damaged skeletons.
