Opening the only door available to the party, Ardo carefully opens the door to the east revealing a set of stairs leading down into a dark corridor.
The corridor's stairs turn to the south and then opens up into a complex hallway with branches going east, north, and south.
The hallway is dimly lit with burning torches in brackets every thirty feet or so.
Hunter is curious as to why such a complex dungeon would not be locked. He comments, "I wonder if upstairs is one big trap and this is really the place we're looking for?"
Using his special sight he looks for anything lurking while waiting on those in front to make a choice about the direction they're taking.
Heading down the stairs, Jess doesn't find anything unexpected. The cold stone stairs and floor echo any noise made, but you don't seem to hear anything from down here. It could be that all of the activity is still a good distance away, or it could be that there's no activity to hear.
The southern passage seems to zig and zag to the point of blocking your view to the end of the passage.
The eastern passage continues for a bit and then turns south, as well.
The northern passage turns to the east, but also has a door on the west wall at the point of when it turns east.
Hunter says, "I'm interested in the zig zag to the south but I will not stop any of you to the front from going where you choose."
Hunter uses his sight and super sense to detect anything lurking.
