Out of Character: Thanks Dungeon Master. That puts my AC at 2 with armor shield and -1 from dexterity.
I will gladly accept the armor and shield Kntoran. These new items makes we wish I were not wholly focused on the bow, but most of the combat so far has also made me wish I had a hand weapon and good armor.
In Character: "I will gladly accept these… thank you."
Once the morning hits Ardo gathers Delgar and goes down stairs and orders breakfast waiting for his companions to arrive. Once he sees Jess walk into the Inn he waves her over to join them and chats about the upcoming venture back to the caves.
"Up front?" says Hunter. "Wait a minute. I know I have the sword and armor and all but I'm an archer at heart and need a little distance to make that work but when needed I am not afraid to move ahead. Hunter grins.
Hunter puts on the ring to see if its effect is like the mage described.
Out of Character: What's the damage dice on the sword, same D8?
Okay, just to confirm:
Black plate mail +2 - Drethen
Shield +1 - Drethen
Long Sword of Wounding - Hunter
Ring of Spell Turning - Ardo
Ring of Sustenance - Hunter
Figurine of Wondrous Power: Onyx Dog - Ardo
That gives each of you two items.
Also, the Long Sword does normal long sword damage with the +1 to hit and damage and the ring of sustenance takes about a week to function properly, so Hunter doesn't feel any difference once he put it on.

In Character: Hunter keeps on the ring and shrugs. He sits down for breakfast and says, "How can you think about breakfast during a time like this? I'm not even hungry."
Out of Character: Thanks, character sheet updated.
