The Watcher from the Aether says... Rethal hears the hobgoblins telling the goblins, "We have pale skin invaders to our home! We must defeat them!"
The spear thrown at Jess bounces harmlessly off the corner of the wall as Rethal pulls her back to safety. Three of the goblins give the hobgoblins their spears as they pull out morningstars.
The rest of the goblins charge the party yelling, "Bree-yark!" Which, loosely translated, means "Gotcha, Stupid!"
Rethal's first attack misses the mark but Aseneth casts another sleep spell. The five goblins charging the party all pass out from the effects of the spell leaving the three goblins that were helping the three hobgoblins.
Seeing their fellows all lying on the floor, the three hobgoblins and two goblins begin a cautious advance while one goblin turns to run.

Ignoble says...Oberon steps behind Rethal using him as cover to launch a stone at the retreating goblin. "Someone stop the runner from bringing help" He says over his shoulder as he then hefts his axe and shield to form a wall with the ranger that the others can work behind.
Ilthin Results:
- Sling bullet on D20 (+1): 16 (1 roll + explode)
- Sling Damage on D4 (+0): 3 (1 roll)
- First Axe on D20 (+1): 21(+3) (1 roll + explode)

The Watcher from the Aether says... Hearing Oberon's instructions to take out the retreating goblin, Jess fires two arrows at it but is unable to get a clear shot from behind Oberon and Rethal. Oberon fires a sling bullet and clips the running goblin in the shoulder, but doesn't manage to bring it down. Pulling out his axe, he's able to cleave a goblin while blocking the attacks of a hobgoblin and goblin with his shield.
Rethal, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, buries his sword deep into the gut of a hobgoblin, which folds over and drops to the floor.
Both Aseneth and Gervase wait for an opportunity to attack as they are blocked behind Rethal and Oberon.
The fleeing goblin makes it to the far corner of the room where you see him throw open a previously unseen door and throw a large, heavy sack that was standing next to the door, through the door. You hear it land on the cold stone in the adjacent room with the solid thump and jingle of coins which is followed by a loud deep roar.

The Watcher from the Aether says... A hobgoblin takes a stab at Rethal with his newly acquired spear catching him in the arm (2hp) while the remaining goblin and hobgoblin attack Oberon, both missing him. Jess, from behind Oberon, is able to get a quick shot with her bow on the goblin, grazing him in the leg (3hp).
Out of the corner of your eye, you can see the injured goblin who threw open the secret door, slink around the corner of the room and head down an obscured passage.
The most interesting thing that you see, however, is the 9' tall, moss green troll squeezing through the open door. He looks around, as if to size up the situation, and then lets out a deafening roar before heading towards the party.

Rethal Tells the others to fall back and make way for the exit. He will cover them as they retreat. "GET OUT! There is a troll coming"
Rethal will cover the others so they can disengage so we can safely get out of this cave.
He will disengage when able to get out of the cave too.
