Gabriel was a bit uncertain that the benefits of doing this at night out weighted the dangers of such a choice, but agreed with a nod and the words, "The night will do. I am ready whenever each of you are."

You spend the rest of the day as guests of the bugbears. Once night falls, you head out into the ravine. You're able to make your way to the cave entrance without any incident but, when you get there and as expected, you can tell that there is something at the opposite end of the cave entrance waiting to greet whoever should come visiting.
Out of Character: This is a good time for a flash grenade or equivalent spell *laugh*.
In Character: Hunter should be able to see what it is with his special vision? If he cannot then he will look for a medium sized branch to throw in and see what happens. If nothing happens at all he will shine his lantern straight inside while standing by the surface of the entrance so he isn't hit.
As the party makes preparations to enter the cave, Delgar whispers, "I can try to cast a sleep spell into the cave. It may take out the guards and give us a stealthy entrance."
Hunter thinks the idea is a good one but wonders if there are really guards there that would be affected by such a spell. He says, "I cannot say what to do, but I would only cast that when you actually see a bunch of good for nothings that needed it and not before unless you have an unlimited supply of that spell?"
Out of Character: Anything from my previous action or it didn't happen yet because of Delgar's proposal?
Out of Character: : Didn't happen yet. I want to give everybody a chance to chime in before resolving actions including giving you all the chance to respond to Delgar's proposal.
