In Character: The sandy-haired half-elf looks like a lost child for a moment as Bambur falls. But as Yousiem blindly rushes in, Inkfinger realises he must act. From Pythagorus' saddle he takes up his shield and mace. No more the bookish academic, he must become the cleric of Hieroneous he trained for. "Hieroneous and Justice!" He bellows and closes for combat.
Specific Action: Inkfinger straps on his shield and takes up his mace. I doubt that I can also attack, but I include the rolls incase.
Oberon is almost smiling, if something that grim can be called a smile. The axe was one he had spent a great deal of time on and this was the first time it had tasted living flesh. He was proud of the keenness of the edge and the depth of the bite. His shield held square as he had been taught and his weight balanced between his feet he closed on his second foe seeking a change to land a blow.
The two halflings are caught off guard by hearing Yousiem behind them. However, they are able to quickly gather their wits and ready for his wild attacks, easily avoiding any injury.
They are not prepared, however, for Gervase coming up behind them with grim determination to avenge the fall of Bambur. One of them takes a solid blow to the back of the head from Gervase's mace and goes down like a sack of potatoes. The other halfling, seeing that he is now out matched, quickly disappears into the woods.
Oberon, feeling a little too confident, misses the halfling who is able to sneak a quick lick with his short sword on an unprotected spot in Oberon's armor, (3 HP)
Out of Character: : due to weapon specialization, Oberon gets two attacks with his Battle Axe this round.
Seeing no more enemy, Yousiem rushes towards Bambur to see if he can patch the wound, having absolutely no clue what he is doing, he simply tears his shirt off and try to cover the wounds as much as possible. As he is doing that, he examine to see if Bambur is still in this world.
Oberon feels the blade cut him and warmth running down his side. The pain will come later, he knows, once he relaxes. Faster than his foe, he strikes again while they are still off balance from their last swing.
In Character: Inkfinger looks over to Yousiem and Bambur. His cure light wounds spell aches for release, but the cleric knows that an arrow between the eyes is beyond its power. Instead, he runs towards the sound of combat, circling the rear of the wagon. His mind screams insults at the murderous little scum, but his tight throat only emits a hoarse croak as he swings his mace.
Out of Character: : Oberon, need your second attack roll. This is your two attack round.
With your weapon specialization, you get two attacks in the first round and one attack in the second.
Out of Character:
I made the second attack, see two posts above yours. I have one kill, one miss, and another swing (With a 7 I would guess another miss).
