As Rethal chats with the new guy at the bar, Aseneth pulls out all of the treasure she'd been carrying from the goblin's cave. It totaled 110 cp and, with the onyx stone, 157 gp. She divided it up into five shares each equaling 22 cp and 31 gp and 4 sp.
Jess takes her share and says, "I'm sorry I can't go on with you all. Maybe once the troll is dead, I'll be able to help out again."
She then turns and heads up the stairs to her room to put her gear away.

Thane is surprised by the sudden approach of the man, his first thought surrounds him being in trouble or framed for something. Determined to not fall victim he gives a candid reply,
"Who wants to know?" He asks with some suspicion.
Oberon finds a quiet part of the bar to sit and think, and drink. He'd done guard duty before, but this was something else. He'd thought he was prepared, but clearly he had a lot to learn.
He sees Rethal is in conversation and doesn't want to disturb him so after he finishes a hot meal, if Rethal isn't finished, he will go looking for the supplies they need.
Rethal looks at the guy. "I am Rethal and I just came back from the caves outside of here as some friends of mine are trying to clear them out a bit. We would like some one who is good with traps, locks and hidden passages to assist us. If you are game. If not no worries enjoy your drink."
As you chat and eat and, whatever, a large fat merchant enters the tavern from the direction of the Inn. He's accompanied by two very lovely ladies, one on each arm.
He walks in with a smile and greats the bartender with a loud, boisterous greeting that is returned with a half-hearted response.
He settles at a table near yours with a companion on either side of him and calls loudly for Jess to bring him a meal and a beverage.
With equal fervor he calls for a round to everybody in the tavern.
"Sounds interesting, but what makes you feel I know anything about traps?" As the large man offers a drink to all he begins to grin. He tries to pick up whatever talk is being given about him so he can get an idea of who it is near to him.
"I am not saying that you are but if the shoes fits you then that is good. If not then we can always use a extra person to assist us with clearing out a few caves. Who knows what we may find there. Treasure, weapons, fame, and possible a better life."
