Out of Character: Scary battle map.
In Character: Hunter's first action is to assess who is here and what they are capable of… "Can any of you fight? Have you any weapons?" he asks in anticipation of the battle that will take place soon. He then adds, "Can any of you tell me about the next room or the powers therein?"
Gabriel gives assistance as well to the prisoners around him, offering a warm smile and words of encouragement as he checks for injury and assures that thus is real. That they are actually being rescued, he even says, "No longer let thy heart be troubled with fear, know now there is light to banish the darkness and monsters you have seen."
Yet Hunter's words did bother him a bit and he questions, "Should you really asking such things in fighting and weapons? I don't believe it being fair to ask them to fight with us." Yes, the number of undead and danger ahead in at least the temple proper was intimidating, yet the paladin worried of putting others at risk.

"Just so you freed captive know. You might have to fight your way out of this cave. I have seen that alter and items used. It is far better to die with a sword in the hand then being sacrificed on that alter."
Out of Character Do we actually have any equipment on us? I mean, we were prisoners.
In Character Davik holds his head in his hands and groans "That's the last time I try to sneak past someone with a hammer. A strange group you have here. Whatever help you might need, I am happy to supply. The names Davik Smithson. I'm a blacksmith by trade with a specialisation in locksmithing. I can fight, but I'm better when I can pass unseen. What's it like out there? We've only really seen the inside of this room. Bait, I think, for you. Give me a blade, I can swing it.
"I have no spare blade as I am a cleric of Bleredd. Here though is a Warhammer to swing though. If you want search the room to see maybe if your equipment is around."
The room is bare of all equipment. The people chained up are common townsfolk or unfortunate merchants with the exception of Davik and the man who was tending Davik's wound, Jude the Healer.
"Hello. My name is Jude. Most call me Jude the Healer. I've been here the longest, about three or four months, if memory serves me right. But I too know nothing of this place due to the fact that these clerics have kept me in here the whole time.
"I can tell you that, other than myself, once you're brought in here, you generally don't stay for more than a few days."
Rubbing his ankles from where the chains had bound him he says, "Thank you for freeing me. My services are yours if you would like them."
Ardo looks at Jude, "Well here is a Warhammer for you also. We are looking to end the evil reign in this area by this cult any help or knowledge will be appreciated." Ardo turns to the group. Taking a deep breath before speaking. "Well I do not want to take on that group of undead but I also do not want to leave that group of undead at our back. Do we want this fight now? They didn't seem to notice us coming in here so hopefully we can get the drop on them and make the fight quick.. Does anyone else have any suggestions?"
With a sigh, Gabriel mutters loud enough to be heard by at least a few in the party, "It is simply too bad we cannot set the whole temple room albaze, destroying the undead with fire."
The paladin wasn't exactly serious about this, more just thinking out loud as he considered more pressing matter of how they are going to fight all the undead within with such a small group.
