Hunter shouts to Davik, "Aim for the bell holders!"
He then says to Jude, "The bugbear!" indicating he needs to be cured.
Hunter meanwhile fights with fury intent on seeing that these undead are no more.
Out of Character: I don't know if that battle used up all rolls but here are some more.
Davik takes aim at the bell holders, and looses more arrows. At the same time, he looks the also looks for any symbology on the altar that might aid them in defeating the undead. If there isn't a Priest here, maybe the undead are being controlled from the altar.
Ardo’s dog responds by saying, “Since I am a magical creature, I have no need for gender distinctions since I do not reproduce. You may refer to me as you wish.”
He then proceeds to lay a solid hit on the zombie standing in front of him, even though it doesn’t cause the zombie to stop attacking. Hunter, on the other hand, is able to finish off the creature that he damaged with his last attack.
Jude, following Ardo’s instructions, heads around to the injured bugbear and heals him with a prayer to Palor. Afterwards he adds, “See the fruit of your violence? Innocents get hurt. Next time, I may not be able to undo the damage you all do to yourselves!”
Davik tries targeting the creatures around the bell, but is unable to get a clear shot and misses. Due to his close quarters with other zombies and skeletons, he finds it difficult using a ranged weapon. (Penalties will be applied when using ranged weapons while engaged in combat)
Drethen swings his sword at the skeleton closest to him and, despite using a sword against a skeleton, shatters the creature into a million pieces with a mighty blow. Meanwhile, Gabriel, apparently contemplating the things that Jude is saying about violence, misses his attack on the zombie in front of him. Fortunately, Jess is able to take it out with one of her arrows. Her second arrow lodges in the ribcage of the skeleton in front of Davik and causes it some discomfort in trying to move and attack on its own.
Meanwhile, Delgar keeps watch as to how he can help, by pulling an injured party member out of combat, or keeping an eye out on the corridor behind them. One bugbear swings and damages a zombie, the second one misses, and the third turns a skeleton into a pile of bones.
For the moment, the gods of law and good must be on your side as each of the undead’s swings misses its intended target. Pressing your good fortune, you fight another round.
Ardo’s swings true and this time his mace crushes the skeleton that moved in front of him to attack him. Hunter also has luck with taking out his skeleton with his new sword. Davik, having a clear shot, thanks to Hunter, fires off two arrows at a zombie that is coming at him laying it low. Drethen, getting his second wind, swings at the first zombie putting it on the ground and takes out a second zombie with his back swing.
Meanwhile, Gabrial damages the skeleton in front of him, but Jess has less luck as both of her arrows fly wide. And, again, the bugbears take out two out of three.
The undead hoard surges forward and continues the onslaught. This time, they are a little more successful as they hit Gabriel (2hp), Davik (3hp), and the first bugbear (2hp).
You can hear Jude call out from the other room, “He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword. It’s fate! Carry on with your violent ways and there can be no other outcome!”.
Hunter hears Jude's voice but cannot make out what he is saying so he thinks to himself, "Is now really a good time for preaching?"
With that thought he continues his attack.
