The Dawn Seeker says...

So wanting to pull Jude aside by the collar and have a stern discussion with the priest, Gabriel instead focused upon the remaining undead though he was getting a little worried.

He was pretty hurt, very much feeling his wounds, and realize that unless they got this taken care of very quickly he may have to call for retreat so everyone could be healed up a bit.

That, and there was always the concern or one of the evil priests making an appearance which the paladin did not feel would go well for the party and himself.

Calling to Jude, he requests, "Please, if you are willing to offer a little healing I would gladly discuss things with you farther good priest."

In Character: Hunter experiences a moment of freeze time and wonders if it is related to zombie-fication or the undead being too close.

Blacksmith says...

Davik continues swinging, feeling satisfied that he is dealing a great blow to the ones that had captured him, although he knew that these undead were merely the swords, not the swordsman, and if they truly wanted to defeat these undead, they would have to find the person or persons that created them. Perhaps in the priests quarters, he could find that swordsman. If not, perhaps something that would make his kidnap worthwhile? Gold that he could use to upgrade his smithy, receive more training for himself and his apprentices. He felt a pang of worry for Glaerun, his animal companion that had aided him in maintaining correspondence with his apprentices. He hoped she had escaped, but he feared the worst.

Davik Smithson Results:
  • Attack Rolls on D20 (+0): 20, 19 (2 rolls)
  • Damage Rolls on D6 (+0): 2, 4 (2 rolls)

The Watcher from the Aether says...

Fifteenth and Sixteenth Rounds.

With the party seeing the end of the undead hoard in sight, they fight on as hope slowly starts to rise in their hearts.

Drethen takes a mighty swing at the zombie in front of him and nearly cuts it in two. Davik and Hunter, on the other hand, get a little too overconfident and are foiled in their attempts to attack their opponents. Ardo and Gabriel also follow Davik’s and Hunter’s lead and miss as well.

Jess, her arm tiring from constantly working her bow without a break, misses her target but the remaining bugbear, wanting revenge for his fallen brethren, smashes his Morningstar into the zombie that he’s facing. Although it doesn’t bring the creature down, you can tell that it did quite some damage to the creature.

Taking what may be their last counter attack, the undead make their last stand. The zombie damaged by the bugbear is able to counter attack, but doesn’t do nearly as much damage as was done to him. And, the skeleton fighting Davik is able to get through Davik’s defenses, knocking him unconscious as he starts to bleed out (6hp, Davik is at -2 and will lose one HP per round until he reaches -10 and then will be ‘officially’ dead). Jude attempts to get to Davik to heal him, but the undead are still in his way, blocking him from being able to assist.

Drethen lays into the skeleton next to him expecting it to go down easily, but he misses with his first attempt, but is able to destroy it with his back-swing. Davik losses a bit more blood while Hunter finishes off the skeleton in front of him. Ardo, spurred on by another comrade dropping to the floor, is able to rally his strength and take out the skeleton in front of himself, as well. Gabriel does his best, but the skeleton he now faces manages to get its shield up and block his attack.

Jess fires her bow at the last skeleton and her arrows lodges itself in the creature’s skull. The skeleton stagers but regains its footing to fight on. The last bugbear misses his opportunity to exact vengeance on his buddies.

With their last surge, the undead respond but are only able to damage the Paladin (1hp on Gabriel).

Rather off topic, but...
Sorry, was on a business trip flying Delta yesterday. Enough said.

Out of Character (Obviously): I probably should have kept a better eye on my HP. If anyone had a heal, I'd really appreciate it.
