"I would suggest returning to my home town," said Davik "The local wizard is something of a collector. It would be difficult to convince him to part with them, but either our cause, or our large amount of funding will convince him to at loan out his collection. I also wish to check on my smithy, make sure nothing bad has happened to it in my absence."
In Character: "Oh? And how far away is your home town? I'm not sure I feel comfortable following a thieves prompting." Hunter says the last bit in a cynical way.
Out of Character: First, your character doesn't know I'm a Thief. At what point did my character tell you I was a Thief. Second, I don't actually know where my characters town is. I just wrote down information about it in my background in the character description. Hopefully the GM can place it within the world.
Out of Character: First, your interest in looking for your thieves tools several times is a dead give away in my opinion. Second, then why say it in character if you don't know where it is? Third, where is your avatar anyway? Its kind of ridiculous looking at a question mark.
Out of Character: I don't believe I ever said in character that I was looking for thieves tools, but I might be wrong. I haven't put in the avatar because I'm writing the majority of this on my phone and it doesn't really load pictures well. Is there another way to upload pictures than using the ones on the site as I find them a bit underwhelming. I wasn't really thinking too much about the world when writing my characters backstory. An error on my part. Did not mean to be rude, but I really don't think from my characters actions you would have surmised that I am a Thief. I told you I was a locksmith, maybe those tools were to aid in testing my locks (They are, that's why my Pick Locks is so high). Still, it's in Canon know, so I'll run with it.
In Character:
"And I thought we were building some level of trust after our recent experiences," Davik shook hid head "In truth, I am worried about my apprentices. My Falcon that I used to deliver messages between myself and my smithy was gone when I regained consciousness, so I have no way to get in contact with them to tell them I'm alright, and make sure they're alright. I've grown quite fond of them in recent years, and I don't wish to lose them like I lost my parents. In any case, it's clear it isn't safe here. Whoever killed Jess knows who you are. How long before they make a second attempt to kill you? You may not trust me, but you must accept that my suggestion is our best course of action.

Out of Character: Underwhelming? What you want something sultry? *laugh* If you can't see pic then what's the difference to uploading one? Get access to a laptop or something. In any case you can bring that up with the admins on the site I don't have any idea.
In Character: "No offense, we just met and although you did help us bash a few of the undead I can't say I'm uncle to anyone until I know them. Anyway, let's get back to what's in front of us."
"I did not know her as you did, did she have any enemies that you know of?" asked Davik "Anyone that might have wanted to do her harm?"
Out of Character: She had her own accommodation, so it's possible that this had nothing to do with us.
Drethen looks about the room to see if he can see any sign of forced entry. "If she has been killed then it is hard to say if this is some random act or is someone out looking for the party. Either way we need to be wary until we figure out what is going on." Drethen will make a deposit of his coins at the church so that his wealth is safe and he is not jingling with coins. He will keep 100 gold. HE will see about having some holy water as they seem to be dealing with some undead and evil clerics for now.
