Out of Character: : This is Greyhawk. Everything is within walking distance, you just have to walk longer.
I removed the 'outdoor area' map from the maps section since this same map is also posted in the first entry of this thread. I replaced it with a Yeomanry area map that includes the keep. We'll say that Davik is from Wickler, a town that you can find on the map at the base of the 'Y' of Yeomanry.
As Ardo enters the Tavern he sees Gabriel and Davik enjoying a meal. “I think I will join you for lunch. Here is what I found out today about Jess. The mages and priests believe it is something called a slithering tracker. It is a creature that people use to guard their treasure. I won’t be able to detect it using a detect evil spell, but they think I will be able to highlight using a faerie fire. So are we staying another night in the keep and maybe try to set up a trap for this thing or shall we go on ahead back to the area and try to finish clearing out that cave if there is anything left behind?”.
Out of Character: : Hunter, I've reconsidered the potion prices. I'm thinking it makes more sense that a neutralize poison potion would be in the neighborhood of 200gp and a cure disease potion would be 400gp. A full healing potion will now be 1000gp.
Out of Character: Where did you say I could go to deliver that magical message to my smithy.
In Character: Davik looks at Ardo and says: "Is there anything else you can tell me about this slithering tracker? It is on little evidence, but I believe the death of Jess is connected to our disagreement with the undead. If I am right, then dealing with the undead first would also help us solve the mystery of Jess' murder, but if I am wrong, then leaving to deal with the undead would mean her murderer walks free. I will leave you to ponder my words, I will be back later."
Out of Character: Davik would like to go to wherever he can send a magical message to his smithy, so he can send the message. I don't know if you want to roleplay through the encounter, or just stipulate that I tell them I'm ok, and explain what happened, and that I'm going to help the party to clear out the undead. Also, do I know anything about slithering trackers (Int roll below)?
Davik would go to the merchant's guild to send his message. It's up to you as to whether you want to role play the transaction. And, there's nothing more about Slithering Trackers that Davik would know that the wizard hasn't already told Ardo.
We don't need to roleplay it. I've told you what I want to say. We can assume they express relief to know that I am alright, concern that I wish to go back into danger and caution me to be careful in what I am doing. After sending the message (How much is it to send?) I put the rest of my gold but 20 in the church bank, and return to Ardo and Gabriel.

With a invisible stalker after us I think we should head back to the caves and see if we can clear more of them out. If the stalker is about we may be able to set some traps so it can be heard if it tries to attack one of us. Either way we need to stay together so if one is attacked the others can assist in dealing with it.
I think we should definitely invest in a bag of flour for every party member. We're most likely going to end up missing and just covering each other in flour, but it seems like the most cost-effective solution to fighting an invisible creature.
