Out of Character: With our small numbers you will be waking up people constantly. Why not make a couple of people do it for a set number of hours?
Delgar will volunteer for the first watch, pairing up with Ardo. Jude will volunteer to pair up with Hunter so that he can take the time to explain to Hunter the virtues of peace and love, and how live, the world, and everything would be so much better if we all would love each other instead of trying to kill each other.
Out of Character: Not sure Hunter can live through that he will probably rather whatever creature of the night that is lurking around to drink his blood than hear the religious nagging. *laugh*.
Out of Character: About what time do we go to sleep? Would we benefit from sleeping for 10 hours, and each person watching for two, so we all get the benefit of a full eight hours of sleep? How many watches would there be. I'd like to take the watch from 11:00 till 1:00, as my character believes it's the most likely time for the creature to strike.
You settle on a watch order, some of you climb into the beds to get some rest, and Ardo casts the Wyvern Watch spell.
It isn't long before Delgar glances down at the floor by the bed that he's standing near. You hear him say, "What's tha… " as he drops to the floor like a sack of wet cement. (Not that any of you would know what a sack of wet cement would sound like, let alone what one is…).
Out of Character: Can I make a roll to see if I heard this? If so, what do I roll?
Out of Character: I would like to immediately go into stealth. I imagine I probably gave the bags of flour to whoever had first watch. What would you like me to roll to see if I can spot where this thing is? Perception at half skill?
