Ardo make sure Delgar is fine, [quickly] prays to Bleredd for a few new spells. Grabs a very quick breakfast and goes to wait by the city gates for the rest of the party.
Out of character: Spells for this day will be 3 Cure light wounds, Command and Protection from Evil, Silence, 2 Hold and a Heat Metal.
Out of Character: Is there anywhere I could hire Henchmen in town? Having a wizard who can do AoE damage on the undead would be a great asset in the task at hand. We've got the oil, but having extra help can't hurt.
Out of Character: Our Dungeon Master needs an elixir to restore his vitality, he isn't able to deal with our speed or questions. .
Hunter heads over to the Merchant's Guild and picks up three fresh brewed potions of healing.
Davik asks around and discovers that Delgar is already the most accomplished wizard in the keep that is willing to head outside of the keep with an adventuring group.
Delgar recovers in the morning and after freshening up, he's ready to head out again. He does seem a little perturbed that the party is asking around about replacing him, though.
Ardo chats up Delgar while waiting for the group to come to the front gate. He reassures Delgar that he finds the mages contributions to rid the valley useful.
Hunter thanks the creators for their work and commitment and then turning to the group he declares, "See… I have 3 healing potions and since you all are very impatient I will hold on to these three as I said already that we should wait for the rest."
He then starts walking out of the Keep asking Ardo in which direction he wishes to go.
"I am thinking through the back door. My guess is they have that valley now covered with look outs. If we can get to the back door without being seen we might be able to sneak into the complex and maybe surprise them. Do you think Davik and yourself could sneak ahead to that outcropping of trees that leads to the back entrance to see if Mendal is there so we don't stumble into an ambush?" While walking and talking Ardo pulls out the map to show Hunter and Davik the area he is thinking of which is where Mendal raised the undead.
Hunter listens and then suggests, "I do not think it is prudent to have both myself and Davik do it at the same time. Perhaps he should go first as he may be more nimble where as I will be loud with my armor and lack of agility. I can be close by as backup though, how about that?"
