The party waits in silent anticipation. But the silence is undisturbed. For a moment, it's almost as silent as a grave before you once again become aware of the few birds in the area.
I draw my bow, fitting an arrow so that I can loose ab arrow immediately if whatever is beyond the door is hostile.
"Crap, well that did not work as well as I had hoped. I have failed many times trying to lift that door. I guess I will try again."
Hunter says, "Now this is curious… let me try to lift it, but it would be better if all of us were trying at the same time."
Out of Character: That's a D6 try, yes?
That's a percentile die roll. Not the 'open doors', but the 'bend bars/lift gates'. Also, if everybody tries to do it at the same time, I'll use the character with the best chance and give a bonus based on the rolls.
Hunter calls everyone together, "Come on we need to lift at the same time so we can get this open and once it is open be ready to attack!"
Ardo already at the door slides over to give more room to Davik, Hunter, Gabriel and Drethen. "Delgar cover us if there are enemies inside ready to jump us."
