The Watcher from the Aether says... As Davik begins to lead the party down the stairs, checking for traps as he goes, he notices a sudden absence of sound. It's as if the stairwell is completely quiet. Even knocking on the stone reveals no echo, no noise, or even a slight scraping sound.
Out of Character: : Not sure why Davik would need any kind of dark vision as it was previously stated that the room you're entering is well lit.

Elf Bowman says...Hunter stops the rest and asks them to back up the steps to see if there is some kind of magick on them or just in the area. If on them he retreats all the way to the top and waits till it wears off.

The Watcher from the Aether says...Despite the fact that Delgar hasn't observed anybody casting any spells, it's still quite obvious that the silence is magical in nature since there's no known occurrences of pockets of silence that have happened naturally.
