Davik once again retreats from combat, continuing to fire arrows, hoping to give the shadow pause if nothing else "Why don't our weapons pierce them when yours do, Drethen?" Until he can work out how to fight the creatures, Davik retreats and fades into the shadows.
Out of Character: If I have to retreat around a corner so I'm out of sight so I can stealth, I'll do it.
Ardo decides he has had enough of fighting these shadows and brandishes his holy symbol. "In the name of the Forgefather, the Almighty Blerred I command you to flee!"
Hunter shouts, "Chop the head of the corpses!"
Hunter is not pleased about what is happening and renews his attack!
A shadow attacks Hunter, but misses. Another attacks Drethen and manages to finally get through his armor (5hp and 1 point of temporary Strength loss).
Then, having about enough of all of this, Ardo yells our and the shadows seem to all fade into the darkness.
Drethen turns to Delgar. "The magical weapons from the priests may help with these shadows Where are they at? We can use them against the shadows if they come back. Seems that magic is what hurts them. Lets get this area searched quickly."
With the shadows cowering in the corners, Hunter doesn't have any problems with severing the heads from the corpses. The cold and weakness does not abate, however.
Out of Character: Do I hear what Drethen says about magical weapons hurting them? I'd so, I'd like to pick up a weapon from the horse. Also, how is our captive reacting to all of this?
