The creature submits to having a leash put on him as hit seems rather happy to get a treat from Davik. It appears that the Rust Monster will be happy to follow you around as long as it gets its fair share of tasty treats.
Out of Character: : Yes, the rust monster can effect enchanted metals. Although they get a saving throw against its powers, +1 and +2 items will not have much of a chance against it.
In Character: : The Watcher in the Aether smiles in delight at the party's decision to keep the beast as a pet. For he knows that this will lead to many 'entertaining' situations. And by 'entertaining' he means fun for him but not so much for the party…
Out of Character: Who is this Watcher in the Aether? Is this just a way to say that the Dungeon Master approves of your course of action?
Davik hands the lead off to Delgar and moves back to his scout position at the front of the party.
Out of Character: I'm being stealthy now.
Out of Character: : Yes, the Dungeon Master is VERY pleased with your decision to keep the Rust Monster as a pet. Also, which direction are stealthing off to?
Ardo looks at this monster that joined the team that just took a piece of metal and dissolved iti n mere seconds. "Uh guys, that thing just dissolved metal. We use metal things to protect and fight. Are you really sure this is something wise and thoughtful."
Ardo follows along with the group but makes sure that monster is well away from him.
Delgar refuses to take the lead "Sorry davik I don't really see this thing as a pet may I suggest you go tie it up somewhere as I am not dragging it along"
Davik takes the straight path, thinking if the area is lit, there's more likely to be something of interest there. He indicates that the party should stow their torches if they have any lit, so as not to attract attention.
Out of Character: Wasn't sure if the area we were in was lit.
In Character: Once Davik has investigated what (Or who) is ahead, he will return to the party to report back.
