"I would rather not risk having him in combat until he's better trained, Hunter," says Davik, as he also draws his bow, aiming for the zombies "I need both hands free to work this bow. Have you got a better idea?"
Out of Character: : As stated, if Hide in Shadows or Move Silently rolls are required, the Dungeon Master will roll them because the character does not know if they are being successful or not in their attempt. All modification required will be applied when necessary.
In Character: : The skeletons, which are able to move more quickly than the zombies, rush around the corner getting the jump on the party. The first skeleton attacks Ardo, but is unable to get past his armor. Since the zombies are still around the corner, Davik has little choice but to fire his arrows at the skeletons. Both of his arrows hit as he tries to take down the next skeleton in line. Luckily, it’s enough to drop the skeleton.
Delgar, having little else to do, moves back behind the second line of defense of Hunter and Davik. The last skeleton moves up to attack Drethen, but is also unable to find a way past his metal plate armor. Ardo pulls out his holy symbol and brandishes it against the undead creatures. Seeing his conviction and feeling the power of his command, they turn and run back to their alcove, but not before Drethen manages to take skeleton in front of him down.
Seeing the creatures retreat, Hunter holds his shot for fear of not being able to destroy the last skeleton. He knows that if a turn creature is attacked, it will no longer be turned and once again attack the party.
As Drethen rounds the corner, he finds the three zombies and the last remaining skeleton huddled in the far corner of the room, having been effected by Ardo's repelling of the undead.
Should Drethen decide to attack, the creature attacked will no longer be effected.
Good job ardo your ability to deal with undead is really coming in handy I didn't even get a chance to react before you dealt with the evil dead or undead as they might be.
"Thanks Delgar I am tired of fighting undead and hope to be back into the keep as quickly as possible. If you people want to target them with missile weapons one at a time so be it. I am not going to bother with them. Davik you want to check the next door. Jude can you keep the rust monster away from the group as for some reason Davik likes him. Though for a pet I would prefer a dog or a bird"
Hunter sighs, "Good, let's move on before they become aware again and decide to pay us a visit." Hunter checks how far away the rust monster is from where he stands. Using his vision he looks ahead.
"Do we want to leave these things alive?" asked Davik "They may be cowering now, but if we move on, and these guys come behind us, we'll be fighting on two fronts. We have the opportunity to fight these guys one at a time if we focus fire while the rest are cowering." As he says this, Davik offers the weapons and armour of the undead they had slain to Rusty "You were really good not rushing into that combat, Rusty, you were a really good boy."
