Jude hangs onto Rusty's leash while the rest of the party addresses the undead.
Deciding to leave them alone, Hunter inspects the alcove and finds nothing but the door to the north.
Davik pets the Rust Monster and the creature responds much like you would expect a puppy to, he wags his tail, bobs his head, and shows what you think is a display of excitement.
Out of Character: Does he eat the weapons of armour of the slain undead?
In Character: Leaving Rusty with Jude, Davik returns to the head of the party, in his scout position, stealthing ahead to hopefully see dangers before the party run headlong into them.
Rusty's appetite seems insatiable. He happily eats the old rusted swords of the zombies and skeletons as well as any additions bits of metal that they might have on their remains.
He even comes back to you either eagerly expecting another treat or waiting to find out what direction you're going to go.
Davik leads him back to Jude: "Rusty, this is Jude, he's going to look after you while I go ahead and make sure it's safe. Now, I'd like you to stay with Jude for now."
Davik gives Jude some of his spare arrow heads "If he stays with you, give him a treat."
Having done this, Davik returns to the head of the party.
Out of Character: I'll roll animal Handling or something to see how well I communicate this to Rusty.

As Davik hands off the creature to Jude, he has a warm comfortable feeling that he's made a friend of this animal. The creature seems to like him and the possibilities of how it could help out in the future are unimaginable.
But it seems that not everybody feels this way as Jude has a bit of a scowl on his face as the takes the lead of the creature.
Despite what or how Jude may feel, Davik has a bit of a spring to his step and feels a bit lighter like he doesn't have a worry in the world as he moves to the front of the party and opens the door to the north.
Out of Character: : I've subtly asked three times which direction the party is going and haven't received a specific direction so I'm going to assume that the party is opening the door to the north instead of heading down the hallway that leads southeast. Also, in this map, I'm leaving in the areas discovered in the evil priest's cave as a matter of reference.
In Character: : As Davik opens the creaking door, a dismal sight greets your eyes. Several men and women—emaciated, pale, and dressed in rags—shield their eyes from the sudden light. From their miserable condition, these wretched folk must have been here for some time.
Davik sheathes the Dagger he had been holding I'm his free hand: "There's no need to be frightened. You're safe now."
Ardo looks into the room scanning it for undead and possible threats once satisfied that his is not going to be jumped by enemies he looks at the group of people in front of him.
"Do I have to worry about any of you trying to attack me?" after waiting a few seconds if there is no answer Ardo continues speaking. "Are any of you the daughter of Asham the cooper in the keep? If not do you know where she is, then lastly do you need help escaping and getting back to the keep?"
