"Be careful" Oberon warns Thane. He may not like the brash thief, but right now they are on the same team. "We have been behind him for some time. He must know we are back here."
Out of Character: I was looking for an 'x' on the map but did not see one. Also not sure if you wanted my rolls for my next action and if you have a preference of the d100 or d20.
In Character: Replying to Rethal, "I can do that, but why is our mission now to kill the undead?" Waiting briefly for a reply he circles through the woods just enough to see the caravan and inform the party of what he sees."
Out of Character: : I'll update the map tomorrow morning to make it more obvious, but just so you all know, the caravan continued down the road. The undead headed into the woods to the northwest carrying two large barrels.
Out of character: Is the x the one on the left of the road where the 2 forests start to merge north of the final loop in the river?
out of character if you follow the road all the way to the other side of the map there is a little x just north of the road looks like they heading towards that big open area in the middle of the trees.
in character "Delgar says from looking at the map it looks like they maybe heading to the caves or atleast in that general vicinity have any of you explored this area before or just the caves its odd that in the middle of the forest there is such a big open area"
Rethal replies, "We have not really explored much of the area just the caves. I came here in a flash of some power with little to nothing on and my equipment besides me so I do not know much about this area except for the caves. As far as the undead we need to rid the world of such beings as they can only cause trouble."
Out of Character: Oh sorry, correction then Thane follows the undead and what might likely be some treasure or good wine in the barrels.
By the time you reach the area where the undead entered the woods, they are no longer visible. You can easily make out their trail for the first 100 yards, but then the trees and underbrush become so thick that it slows your party down and makes it difficult to track them.
Even though they appear to have left pieces of flesh and cloths on branches and shrubs, it's difficult to tell which is the freshest path as most of the traces are old and well scattered throughout the area.
Out of Character: : Rethal, I need a total of three tracking rolls. Also, check updated map. You may have to refresh the page in order to get the latest version.
