The Mysterious says...Delgar jumps back at seeing the ghost like figures rush towards the party. He quickly moves behind ardo hoping his faith will protect the group, but since he isn't as religious as others he prepares to cast a magic missile spell at the closest one.

The Watcher from the Aether says... Drethen and Hunter take the first rank challenging the wraiths head on. Ardo pulls out his holy symbol and rebukes the creatures but they merely pause to see what he was doing. The pause causes them to miss their targets of Hunter and Drethen but, both Hunter and Drethen miss them as well.
Davik has a little better luck. His first arrow hits one of the wraiths passing through it and causing part of the shadow to boil and billow away like steam off of a pot of boiling water. The wraith screeches in agony, but continues to fight. Delgar, seeing the wraith damaged by Davik's arrow, fires his magic missile at the same wraith. The wraith screeches again but looks much less than its former self. It's shape becomes blurry and it's difficult to see the human image it once represented.
Hunter gets a lucky hit on the creature with his enchanted sword and the injured wraith boils away into a black mist that eventually disappears. Drethen is not as lucky as he continues to miss his opponent while the creature comes close enough to hitting Drethen that he can feel the icy cold claws as they narrowly miss him.
Davik fires off two more shots from his enchanted bow and miss, as well.
Out of Character: : Davik, you have a total of +3 to hit with your bow and only +1 to damage.
