Ardo steps into the room and closes and locks(If there is a lock on the door) the door. "That is not the type of greeting we were expecting seeing you reach for your weapon. I really am starting to hate this place."
Delgar shakes his head not again why can't we just find our way out he thinks to himself he prepares to cast a blindness spell on the creature hopefully it will have some effect.
Ardo approaches Richard and swings his weapon. Richard dodges the swing with the experience of somebody who’s seen a lot of combat and has the confidence gained from wining many battles. Drethen finds the same amount of success having both of his swings expertly blocked. On the heels of Drethen’s attack, Richard swings back with to expertly placed blows, but Drethen feels that the man-lion is just playing with him because he gets the feeling that despite the pain from the attacks, Richard could have done much more damage (16hp damage, total).
While Richard is being distracted by Ardo, Hunter, and Drethen, Delgar is able to get a spell off and blind Richard who growls in frustration as he now takes a more defensive posture. Hunter takes advantage of the creatures new found blindness and although he misses with his first attack, he’s able to use it to set up a devastating second attack (Nat 20, followed by a nat 20, followed by a hit. Hunter inflicts a total of 16 points of damage). Davik is also able to find his mark with one of two arrows fired at him.
Out of Character: : Need new rolls, especially from Hunter who used all of his rolls in the first round.
Davik continues firing off arrows, aiming to end this as quickly as possible.
"Why is everything in here trying to kill us?"
Hunter senses the lion man knows how to fight so he puts some gusto into his swings.
Ardo keeps swinging his mace at this creature hoping to finish the fight off before anyone gets killed.
