When Hunter hears the find he says, "I do not want anything but the coins and you will note this will be the second time I miss the pick of treasure. Now, who will calculate the split?"
While that is being sorted Hunter goes to the next available door to observe and listen (I guess this is 6 or 7).
"Yes treasure is going to be a problem until we can get it identified we will never know the worth. Delgar will you be able to identify 1 or 2 items a day if we get a chance to rest? Besides like Drethen says we should be careful as this place is a trap some of these items might be cursed."
While the party is determining what to do with the coins, staff, and morningstar, Hunter approaches the next door in the hallway. It has a slight film of soot, but it doesn't seem to be adversely effected in any other manner.
Listening at the door, Hunter is unable to hear any noise coming from the other side.
Hunter calls over the rust monster thief, "Hey Rusty, come over and see what this door is got." As he does that Hunter stands from behind with bow ready for any surprises.
Drethen tells Hunter, "I had planned to give you the golden armor to help you but we want it identified before you place it on in case it is a trap or cursed. Yes we will split all the coins fairly." He joins Hunter with bow ready as Davik opens the door.
The paladin nods at Drethen's word, as if to say it was nothing, before having his attaneiont drawn to Hunter. Listening to the situation, Gabriel offers, "Since I do not plan on making personal use of much of my share I am willing to offer aid in getting what you may still need once we are out of here."
Gabriel considers, at least in part, the elf might feel he hasn't been getting his fair share when it came to the treasure. More, he considered this might be a way of getting Hunter to consider him with less suspicion or at least allow such to be lessened a bit.
He would then wonder over to where the door was to see what they'd do.
Yes I need to rest to regain my magic, then I will be able to find out if these weapons are magical. I unfortunately will not be able to identify them to make sure they are safe. I will ask to hold onto the staff and examine it for any runes or magical writings when we decide to take a break. I don't even know how long we have been trapped here I know I need to rest to recover my powers.
