Out of character: sorry I did a post but it didn't go through I wasn't sure about using identify during an adventure because of the casting time and the fact you lose 8 points of contact and takes 8 hours to recover it.
Out of Character: : Not an issue. Given that you entered the mansion in the morning, and if you even took 1/2 hour on average per room, that means you were only in the mansion for about four hours, getting you back out into the courtyard by 1pm. That would leave you a total of 17 hours to do your magics before getting ready to head back in, first thing in the morning on the next day.
In Character: : The party picks up their things and gets ready to re-enter the mansion on another foggy morning. You make your way down the first hallway, past the room with the boxing rink, and into the main hallway (Area 5). You find that it is once again pitch black as all of the lights have gone out and it still doesn't have any windows to allow the morning light in.
Those without infravision are not able to see and those with can only see their 60 feet. Currently there is nothing within 60 feet giving off a different heat signature for your infravision to pick up.
Ardo pulls out Ralph and brings him forth. "Gentleman shield your eyes and do not light anything. For this is the room last time that blinded us. I am going to get Ralph to lead the way to the door straight ahead to the last set of doors we did not explore. Be ready incase those spiders are in that short hallway."
Out of character: Going forward spells will be 4 Cure light wounds, Protection from evil, Hold person, Heat metal, Wyvern Watch.
"Lets not light a light in here again and get trapped with blindness like we did before. Maybe cast a light spell inside and shut the door until it is lit again. I dislike being blind."
Out of Character: Updated my character sheet with the +3 long sword.
Hunter, pulling out his lantern and using some wit says, "Anyone got a light?" he smiles cunningly and then puts the lantern away as he looks at the thief and says, "Hey Rusty, you going to check out the area or what?"
Gabriel was annoyed with the situation, finding himself uneasy in the darkness having always much preferred the light. Perhaps though, it was because he did not have the ability to see in darkness like others in the party.
He says to those there, "Well lets do it quick, I would rather have light as soon as possible. We are at too much risk in the darkness." Gabriel's hand moved to brush lightly against the morningstar, hoping that Fuascailt would be of aid to him and his companions.

Hunter calls to Davik, but the halfling seems to be pondering the door to the room with the boxing rink in it. He seems to be considering whether or not he should try to take on the aristocrat's champion again and ignores Hunter's call.
Ardo calls his onyx dog from the aether and sends it forward to scout out the grand hallway. Ralph quickly explores the western section and reports that the second door on the north wall is open, the door to the room that had the lion-man in it and whose armor Hunter is now wearing.
If you make your way into the corridor, those with infravision can see the open door. Those without, can still see the door, but it simply appears to be a portal of dim light without any context.
"What do you think?" asked Davik "This man had alot of gold on him, and I almost beat his champion last time. He also may have more information than he let on. He is the only thing we've encountered in this place that hasn't immediately tried to kill us."
