Here a huge octagon-shaped building with seven domes has been turned into an indoor forest. The seven domes are made of thick panes of clear glass that let sunlight filter into the garden forest. The domes are nearly 100 feet high. Many trees of various types, some reaching a height of 83 feet, are planted in the garden. Numerous flowers. Grasses, and bushes have also been planted. A stream meanders through the forest, widening into a fountain-pool in the middle of the garden. The north-west section of the forest slopes upward to form a 20 high hill.
A 10 wide path wanders through the garden. The path was designed as a kind of scenic tour by the Amber family. The plant growth here is so thick that characters will only be able to see into an area 10’ wide on either side of the path.
Gabriel stood in awe at the sight, before shaking his head in disbelief. This was just so much to take in, but after a moment he says, "Whoever the owners of this mansion are, they have created a most impressive garden. I can't even imagine the amount of work it might have taken, unless magic was used?"
The paladin did wonder, what was it about this place. Was it some sort powerful spell creating the place whole cloth, a cursed place of those with far too much wealth to spend, or an elaborate trap meant to ensnare travelers? Perhaps all three, or something else completely.

Drethen walks along the path watching to see what is ahead and off to the sides as much as possible. He has his shield ready and a hand on his sword ready to draw it in case something or someone comes towards them. This house has proven that if it a person we will end up fighting.
Hunter takes in everything wondering to what extent this place goes to make things happen. He is rather interested in two things which he comments…
"This place has sunlight instead of fog… there might be hope of an exit. Also that stream of water must come from somewhere that can enable another escape."
He takes up rear guard as those in front take the lead.
Taking notice of his companions, Gabriel gives a nod of approval at Hunters words before saying, "Good job noticing such details, I admit to being distracted with the sight of the garden to even consider such details."
The paladin considers what was said, looking to the fog and stream himself wondering where it might lead. Working to ignore the pain he still felt from the boxing match, Gabriel also prepares himself for trouble with Fauscailt in hand and shield at ready.
Though he did not tell his companions such, it had actually been quite difficult to get his armour back on after losing to John-Louis' champion. The paladin felt he would stick with keeping well armoured and armed, though perhaps if he had at least some training in the boxer's fighting style the match would ahve gone much better.

As the party marches along the path, Hunter notices some odd movement coming from vegetation on the left side of the path. Realizing what was happening before the rest of the party, he calls out a warning as branches from the side of the path reach out to grab the party.
Out of Character: You are being attacked by branches along the stretch of path that you are on. There are one to four branches reaching for each of the characters. Time for initiative AND combat actions.
Ardo makes sure he is placed in front of Delgar and Davik. "Ahh I was beggining to think this place was not trying to kill us now I am sure this place does want us dead."
