"There are many questions that can be asked, not only of you and your companion but of the mansion itself,' The paladin offers with a respectful nod, understanding that asking too many could cause issues or overwhelm her.
Gabriel considered the situation, thinking on the strangeness of it all. What were the secrets of this place, who created it, what was it that caused it to be a prison to those who comes up on it? Does it somehow call those to it, does it bring them there without even realizing?
Looking to his companions, turning for a moment away from the woman and the unicorn, the paladin says, "I would agree that I feel setting up camp to rest may be the best choice. At the moment this seems to be one of the safest place in the mansion." He smiles, actually looking forward the east.
"Once we have slept, we can try to find the library," He felt this was a fair plan, and was glad they had found it.

Hunter, already passing the woman and hearing no footsteps behind him, stops and turns around to see where the others are and what they're doing. He tries to wave them onward.
The lady responds to Ardo, "We lay no claim to this particular place. Feel free to rest where you like as long as you mind your manners you won't have any issue from us."
The party takes a day and rests with the amber lady and her unicorn. You find that the lady is well spoken, intelligent, and quite well traveled when it comes to stories and lore of the land in and around Greyhawk.
The night passes uneventfully (Everybody who needs it heals 2 HP). Apparently the woman was telling the truth when she said that inhabitants of the forest left her and her unicorn alone. At some point, each of you wonders whether the local inhabitants are avoiding the unicorn or her as she also displays a rare confidence that you would not expect from a lady such as her.
In the morning, she bids you farewell and luck in your travels. Continuing on the path, it winds to the north and then turns to the east. The vegetation continues to limit the party to the path unless you're willing to spend extra time cutting through underbrush and clearing a way.
As you turn to the east, you come upon a 10' wide wooden bridge that spans a meandering stream. The path continues across the bridge. On the side of the bridge closest to you, you see a humanoid with the head and horns of a billygoat saying: “Please don’t eat me, Mr. Troll, my brothers, who are right behind me, are much bigger and fatter than I am.”
A deep gruff voice from beneath the bridge answers, “All right, you may pass, I’ll wait for your brothers.” The billygoat quickly exits across the bridge.

Hunter smiles and says to the party, "You hear that? That is what we must say to pass without a fight!"
With the greatest confidence he approaches the bridge and says, "Please don’t eat us, Mr. Troll, there are few fattened cows on their way here and they will make a very good meal for you."
Gabriel was uncertain if this would work, but says nothing as Hunter tried the same excuse as the strange creature before. Yet if they were lucky, it would work out well but the paladin readies in morningstar just in case there was a fight.
For some reason the scene as it played out seemed so familiar, as if a story from use, but he brushes such off. Such can be considered for another time perhaps and surely was not important as he wasn't a child listening to stories anymore.
Drethen upon hearing the gruff voice readies his sword and shield. He knows this place is not kind to us and that we will soon be fighting this troll to make sure we can cross this bridge safely. "What else is this house going to throw at us?"
