"May the blessed powers of Bleredd heals your wounds Rethal. I am ready to step forth and fight the evil, but now is the time to plan our fight before we open that door. I have warhammers to cave the skulls of the skeletons in, but my friends who will come up with an idea so we do not get overwhelmed immediately, or the person reopening the door get stab."
"This could just be a big elaborate trap because once we left the room the door closed and it was only when we went so far in the skeletons attacked so perhaps it resets itself and when we open the door again they will be lined up again like they were." Even after saying that I am still grabing one end of the rope and ill move over to one side in case we decide to open the door.
"I think you are right, but we would probably have to wait. Lets give it 10 minutes before we force the door again. When we do, let me be the one to go in. You hold the rope with Ardo and Rethal can find some rocks to jam the door so it stays open."
Once everyone is ready, Oberon will give the door a try to force it open.
Rethal looks around, but there are very few options available for wedging the door open. The rocks in this clearing are small and frail and there are really no decent sized pieces of wood available since the only growth for 300 yards are briers and bushes. He does eventually find two or three rocks that may work fallen from the side of the stone lintel in which the door is built.
When ready, Oberon pushes against the door. He strains and pushes for all he's worth, but the door door doesn't budge.
Ardo let's out a small sigh of relief as not wanting to fight whatever set up 24 skeletons as guards. "Gentleman, this looks like a back door, let's look around for a bit and see if we can find a front door, or some better tools to help open the door."
Rethal hands the rocks to Oberon and say, "Looks like I will open the door and you brace it and grab the rope. Ardo you can be ready with your holy items to see if you can make them move away from us."
Rethal will attempt to open the door again.
