Drethen presses the attack on Simon, hitting him with his sword. After the attack, Simon is looking extremely battered and appears as if a stiff breeze would blow him over. Still undeterred, Simon strikes back but misses.
Hunter fires two arrows at the strange skeleton, but they both miss their mark leaving the creature unscathed. Both Ardo and Gabriel also attack the creature, but miss as well.
The skeleton creature uses its four hands to attack Ardo and Gabriel. It hits Ardo twice (3hp total) but fails to do any damage to Gabriel.
Drethen takes another swing at Simon and is unable to do any damage despite Simon's obvious distress. Simon is so worn out at this point that he weakly swings his mace at Drethen only to have it bounce off Drethen's armor.
Ardo, Hunter, and Gabriel continue to battle the bone creature but between the three of them, they're barely able to slow it down.
As Hunter keeps his distance by firing arrows at it, the creature is unable to get close enough to him to attack so it continues to focus its attacks on Ardo and Gabriel. This time, it's able to hit Ardo once and Gabriel twice doing about the same amount of damage to each of them (8 HP each).
Despite his weak attacks and his tiring posture, Simon continues to attack while grinning with a maniacal grin and the four armed skeleton continues to blindly attack Ardo and Gabriel while showing little signs of slowing down.
Ardo continues swinging at the evil creature. "Ralph attack that spellcaster and keep him from casting, while we try to finish off this creature."
Hunter relentlessly continues his magic by targeting all the opposition just in front of him.
Gabriel keeps his attention on the skeleton, feeling the wounds grown, but notices how the priest is tiring. He got an idea, one he did not know if it would work, but will give it a try. The paladin keep the aggression on the undead before him hoping it goes down soon.
Given how Charles was already dead, and Simon was probably close to follow, the paladin try a plea to see the fighting stop. Gabriel says, "Please Simon, stop this madness and call off the attack. If you surrender now there is still a chance you won't be killed."
Out of Character: A detail I forgot, if it makes any difference, is that I just remembered Gabriel has the non-weapon proficiency of Endurance. Also, I forgot what bonus I was supposed to add for attack.

Simon hears Gabriel's offer of surrender. His visage only darkens as he scowls and says, "I'll never give up to a bunch of interloping fools!"
He takes one final swing at Drethen. He finally connects with his mace (3hp) at the cost of giving Drethen an opening that finally ends him.
Meanwhile, the rest of the party tries to deal with the bone creature. As everybody attacks, the creature shrugs off all of the hits except for an arrows from Hunter that manages to chip one of its ribs.
In retaliation, it only manages to scratch Ardo (1 HP) with one of its bony claws.
The next round, nobody is able to hit it or damage it again, except for Ardo who manages to connect on a solid hit with his mace. The force of the blow seems to shake the skeleton to the point that its bones seem to loosen in their sockets. The creature now rattles and shakes and you get the impression that it is close to falling apart.
But even in its beaten up state it still continues to fight striking Gabriel with one of its bony hands (5hp).
Hunter frowns at the sight of shaking bones that can still draw blood so he ramps up the shoot count by sending more towards it.
Out of Character: Once over he will search Charles.
Ardo keeps swinging away hoping to finally take down this evil skeleton that has lasted way longer then he anticipated.
