The Dawn Seeker says...Gabriel was glad that the battle ended quickly, though still wondering why the morningstar has no effect. More, thinking back, on why it had been so quiet. Ignoring the clothes, armour, and weapon for now he says to it, "Fuascailt, my friend, are you awake?" It still felt a little strange, despite knowing it was an intelligent weapon, but still wanted to see if the weapon would answer him.

The Watcher from the Aether says... The party gathers the valuables and begins preparing to leave.
Gabreil inquires of his morningstar, Fuascailt. Fuascailt responds, "Yes, I'm here. How can I be of service?"
Down the hallway, Hunter finds nothing new besides the rows of 3' by 3' doors lining the walls.

Elf Bowman says...Hunter picks the closest door and does his usual checks followed by opening with bow and arrow pulled back.

The Watcher from the Aether says... Hunter opens the door and is greeted by a pair of feet on a stone slab. The slab can be pulled out of the wall.
Pulling the slab out of the wall Hunter finds that the slab itself is about 7' long. The body lying on the slab is that of a naked male elf. The body also appears to be drained of blood with the crown of his head removed and the brain missing.
The body appears to be preserved by the cold temperature in the room as only a minor amount of decay can be noted.

Elf Bowman says...Hunter says to himself, "Perhaps a continuation of the beast's projects?" He pushes back the slab and searches the room. If he finds nothing he checks the next nearest door.

The Dawn Seeker says... Gabriel gives a chuckle, actually relieved the weapon still had sentience as he says, "Just making sure you still had your intelligence about you, and perhaps ask why you simply bounded off the beast we faced." The paladin consider Fuascailt, still knowing so little about the sentient weapon.
Yet he will also make sure to follow his companions, keeping an eye on things. Gabriel watches as his fighter friend pulls off a slab to reveal what appears to be a body drained of blood as well with brain removed. The paladin felt himself giving praise to his god that they were able to kill the beast.
