Searching the remaining 3' x 3' doors, you find that most of them have a body, various races and mixed sexes with the majority being human males, that has been drained of all blood with the brain removed. You can tell that some of the bodies have been here longer than others, but due to the preservative effects of the cold, it's hard to tell just how long any of them have been here.

Moving back into the connecting corridor, Hunter opens the only remaining door that hasn't been inspected, the one to the west.

As he opens the door, he finds a large room that appears to be an even larger laboratory than the one with the strange creature in it. The primary difference being that this room has an exit to the north and to the west.

This large room is outfitted as a complete alchemistry laboratory with long wooden tables and myriad wood shelves filled with strange flasks and glassware: alembics, calcinators, sublimators, athanors, retorts and distillation apparatus.

First Hunter will make a search for anything worthwhile perhaps with the aim of finding any hidden creature waiting to leap out at him. If nothing can be found he will first check the west door.

"Hmm, fair enough then," Gabriel will say with a moment of though, believing that perhaps the reason it bounced off was because of magic or the beast itself not because of lack of skill. Yet at the same time, maybe what they fought was simply that strong.

Still, perhaps the weapon was right and he simply was skilled enough as a paladin before saying, "Well I am thankful to have you as my weapon then, as tool or not you can bring much to fighting the evil we may all face." Gabriel finds himself frowning at the sight of all the bodies.

Approximately ten vents open in various parts of the room in both the ceiling and floor and a brown tainted gas begins filling the room.

Drethen will go the nearest door and attempt to break it open. He will hope to get it open and they can escape the gas.

Besides letting out a few choice words about his bad luck Hunter goes lower to the ground, takes whatever cloth around him and makes a face mask. Then he immediately tries the doors he originally intended to use.
