Hunter smiles and says, "Oh, I know… I am not from your world and carry with me certain powers beyond which you might be familiar."
Hunter then shows more of the sword swinging it through the air as though showing off his sword skills, "This sword, has abilities… it can do things that no mortal can do… understand?"
Hunter then stops and says, "I have a feeling you have certain 'powers' as well but you tend to keep them hidden for the most obvious reasons as your petty world has towards magic. Do you understand me?"
Hunter is throwing leads to see if the Bishop takes the bait.
Out of Character: Drethen, Ardo and the Town Crier are at a podium in a center square in the city. People are passing by but none appear to be paying any attention to the conversation. The merchant's guild building is on the opposite side of the street and about a block down from your position.
Gabriel and Hunter: As Hunter continues, the Bishop sits back down. He still carries a scowl, but seems to have calmed down quite a bit. "So, what is it that you are asking?"

"Forgive my idealistic friend. For while he thinks we are out to save the world from these so called evil items of power. To be truthful we are just treasure seekers trying to make some easy coin. We know no items of power exist but figure if these pieces of jewelry were talked about in stories they must have been beautiful. We all know things of beauty can fetch many gems and gold coins from the Church. That is what I desire. For I desire to never have to work on the family farm again."
"I have the feeling you have been doing things in this place… naughty things, things that could get a man killed were the populace brought to light about your doings to come into this position, however I am here to bring you to repentance so you can receive forgiveness for your sins and perhaps even learn about some powers beyond your scope on condition of course. Are you ready to repent? I promise it is far better than the other choice: damnation" says Hunter with a preachy tone.
Drethen smiles as Ardo speaks. "Yes, coins to fill my pockets with and never having to work again would be grand. Come along Ardo it is clear to me that this gentleman has no clue about any of these tales and we may be just chasing something that truly does not exist." Drethen turns around and starts to head elsewhere.
Gabriel and Hunter: The Bishop continues to sit back in his chair with a scowl on his face and his arms crossed with a look of, "Get to the point."
Drethen and Ardo: You hear the Crier mutter, "Sounds like something you should tell to the Inquisitor… " as he spots a contingent of the city guard. He waves his hand and calls loudly to them, "Oi!"
Ardo turns away from the crier and inquisitor and heads away from Drethen. Once around a corner he quickly pulls up his cloak of elvinkind and trys to get into the closest alleyway and darkness and blend in.
