Gabriel offers a physical description of the items, such as the mirror with a viper circling the glass and another called The Ring of Eibon. Of seeking those by the name of Gaspard du Nord and Luc Le Chaudronnier as he says, "If you have any information, it would be appreciated. A man of your wisdom and influence I feel perhaps knows more then most in this land."

Hunter nods, "We need these items and you may have hold of one or all of them. Should you make them known we may be willing to impart with some of our special items, but know this… we do not take kindly to deception and if you choose to think that we can be fooled you will find that your redemption will turn into permanent damnation."
"Hunter," Gabriel says with firm disapproval and a scowl, before continuing in a soft tone, "Do you have any idea how disrespectful and rude you are being? To speak such a way to the Bishop will not lead him to help us and could get us arrested." Much like when speaking with a king, the paladin couldn't believe that his companion would say such to the highest religious authority in the land.

Ardo and Drethen are able to discreetly escape into the crowd. The Crier makes a show of giving chase, but doesn't pursue them too vigorously thinking they were mostly crackpots or something of the sort.
Gabriel and Hunter: The Bishop drops his defensive posture just a bit. A small wry grin creeps across his lips as he says, "So that's your game. Looking for magical items as a payout, are you? Well, I don't know of the items that you seek. The only thing I can offer for you silence is a potion of time travel. But, just remember, if you try to give my secret away, you'll end up missing before you can convince anybody."
Hunter looks at Gabriel and then back at the Bishop, "Potion? Is that all?" replies Huntter perhaps not knowing the worth of what is being offered or perhaps not trusting the Bishop. He continues, "There is more than us that knows about you… even if we were missing there are others so be wary of your own treats." Hunter then starts looking around the room as though waiting for a better offer.
Gabriel raise my hand, hoping the gesture quiets his friends, before he looks to the Bishop and asks, "A potion of time travel, surely I misheard you? There is no such thing, and if there was it would be a very dangerous potion indeed. Enough that I cannot understand why you'd be willing to give it to us." He looks to Hunter, not believing that his companion doesn't realize how powerful that potion could be.
