Hunter rolls his eyes at Gabriel and his 'potifications' he then turns his attention to the guards and says, "What are you all rushing in here for… don't you see that your Bishop has gone to heaven and become a saint? He told us to watch over his room while he's gone" all the while getting his bow out.
Ardo walks into the bar seeing everyone smiling and laughing. He orders a quick drink from the bartender. Seeing Drethen he goes and sits with him. "My friend, I am not going to stay at this bar just in case someone was near the both of us when the town crier called for the guards. I am going to move down to the next tavern on this road and rent a room on the second floor with a window to the alleyway. If you need me look there. I do not want to be arrested in this town if they hate magic this much"
Out of character: What ever the nearest bar that I seen from this place I tell Drethen about. That is the one I am going to.
Drethen agrees with Ardo and will finish his drink and walk out with him. Once they are outside he will head to the next inn. "We need to figure out where Gabriel and Hunter have gone to. I think there is nothing here for us unless those two found something."
Gabriel gives a sigh of frustration before muttering, "We could have accomplished so much more." Still, he will hold out hope that this could be resolved without imprisonment or death.
Looking to the guards he will hold up hos hands, and say both to them and Hinter, "Hold please, His Excellence is safe and unharmed. My friend was simply a bit overzealous in trying to get what he wanted." If this fails and it looks like guards are ready to kill, the paladin will go to draw his weapon.
Looking to each of those in the room, trying to get a feel for the situation, Gabriel will hope that they might listen and he could talk his way out of this even if the chances were slim to none he will ask, "Surely we can discuss this, that you could confirm the Bishop is safe and unharmed and we could leave without issue?"
Out of Character: Yes, I understand it is perhaps far to late at this point but I don't think getting into a fight with the guards and, if they manage to escape, become fugitives of the law is the best path. Also, what should our hit points be at? I don't believe that we have had a battle in a while and so hope that I simply forgot to update to full health. If not, I am 15/29 HP.

The guards hold their position at the door and yell, "Drop you weapons!" As they do, the Bishop rolls out of a cabinet that is standing close by yelling, "Stop them! They tried to kill me!"
Meanwhile, as Ardo and Drethen walk from tavern to tavern, they can already hear the cries coming from the streets that an assassination attempt had been made on the newly appointed Bishop.
"I didn't want to do this, but it seems I am left without a choice… ", He pauses, getting an idea. Now it will still involving drawing his weapon but perhaps Gabriel could also give them enough time to escape.
Continuing, he draws a very particular morningstar, and asks of him, "My friend, Fuascailt, I call on your voice to reveal thyself to those before us." Gabriel will already have an attack readied.
Specific Action: Hopefully, the shock of hearing an intelligent magic item will allow them to escape, but my rolls before did involve attack and damage rolls. Still, I worry there might not be a way out of this.

Stunned by the weapon speaking, the guards along with the Bishop are stunned for a moment allowing both Hunter and Gabriel time to take one action.
Out of Character: Yes, at this time, everybody should be at full HP.
Grabbing Hunter's shirt forcefully, not much in the mood to waste this opportunity, he begin pulling him to the door to escape as he says, "Let's fly you fool!" Gabriel just hopes this brief moment of time to flee from the danger they found themselves in, moving past the guards and through the door.
Out of Character: Very good, I will make the update to my character sheet.
