Gabriel readies his morningstar, preparing to attack yet again though hoping that no one got too hurt and that they could knock out the abbot. Glancing to his weapon for a brief moment he says, "Strike true my friend."
Hunter realizes that he must uses his special sword thus revealing it as he drops his bow. "You will love how this feels" he says with animosity.
Ardo continues his attack on the beast hoping to not end the man's life so he can help reverse whatever curse has befallen him.
Drethen pushes the attack managing to strike the beast again. His magical sword cuts deep, but the creature responds against him as well as Ardo and Gabriel since they have joined the fight. The creature slashes Gabriel with on of his claws (10 HP damage) but misses Ardo with the other as it lays into Drethen once again with its long sharp teeth (12 HP damage).
Hunter joins the fray striking the beast with his sword. The wound isn't large, but true to his sword's abilities, it bleeds steadily. Ardo is knocked off balance and misses the creature while Gabriel misses as he reals in pain from the creature's claw.
Drethen strikes again and cuts the creature deeply again. Reeling in pain, the creature continues to chew on Drethen (10 HP damage) as it claws at Ardo (1 HP damage) and at Hunter with his sword that makes its wounds burn in pain (2 HP damage).
In response, Hunter fails to land a second blow. Ardo is able to smack the creature with his mace while Gabriel once again fails to hit the creature.
Hunter is amazed that he is so terribly unlucky so he does a mental double step hoping to target the beast more wisely.
Ardo steps back from the fight and draws his staff of healing. Hoping no one other than his friends can see him he tries to heal Drethen. "Drethen step back from the fight for but a moment. Let Hunter and Gabriel occupy him." After healing Drethen he will step back into the fight.
