Gabriel takes the notes, and makes sure the items are gathered together properly. He will trust that Hunter and Ardo will keep watch, making sure to allow him the chance to get everything together. He will read though the instructions, hoping they actually had everything needed.

Drethen takes the potion of time travel and anoints the sword of Sylaire with it. HE then takes the ring of Eibon and touches the tail of the viper with the ring. He then shatters the mirror using the anointed sword of Sylaire.

As Drethen pulls out the items, Hunter hears the 20 heavily armored men begin moving through the vegetation. And, even though he can't see them, he's sure that the six men that were following you are already moving quietly forward to your position.

When Drethen touches the Ring of Eibon to the viper’s tail on the mirror frame, the serpent uncoils enough for the ring to slide over the tail. The ring slowly moves up the viper’s body until it circles the head like a collar. The viper’s tail will once again be gripped in the viper’s mouth.

When the Enchanted Sword of Sylaire is anointed with the potion of time travel, the blade glows bright gold. As soon as the blade comes into contact with the mirror, the party will hear a high pitched humming. The mirror, ring and sword will then shatter into thousands of shards.

Just as that happens, Hunter spots three of the men sneaking up on them just as they are firing arrows at him.

The amber haze surrounds the group obscuring the men from Hunter's view and also keeps them from being able to fire their arrows. The world of Averoigne fades out and the party finds itself on a seemingly endless plain. You are fully healed and have all of your spells replenished as if you've have had a full day's rest.

In front of you is a massive, square, 50’ tall tomb made of amber colored marble. Carved over the entrance is the name “Stephen Amber.”

On the door is painted the Amber family crest; A black shield with a gold phoenix (Sable, a phoenix Or). An amber crown is painted above the crest.

Drethen smiles at Ardos word. "That is a bet I am unwilling to take as it seems they all wanted to kill us why would this guy be any different. The signs did say that to break the curse we had to come to this place. Whell we are here. Now does anyone remember what we were supposed to do next?"

"I hope not", Gabriel replies with a sign to Ardo's words, before continuing, "It hasn't turned out well for those in the past who have tried to harm us." The paladin was thankful that they were out of that situation, but admittedly feels the guilt of how everything turned out.
