Gabriel will continue walking down the center of the hallways, though catching the berries when given to him, keeping up a quick pace so as to try and get through it without too much time passing. Looking behind him, the paladin says, "Keep moving, we can make it through this!."

Gabriel leads the party down the long corridor and to the right. At the end of the hallway is a door. As Gabriel approaches, a fire salamander leaps out of the flames on the wall and attacks him. Fortunately for his quick reflexes, he's able to avoid the creature's attacks.
Out of Character: You knew it was coming, initiative and attacks, please.
"Here is the welcome guy" says Hunter as he aims his bow for the fire salamander's head.
Ardo thinks to himself thank god it was not Red Dragon as he was fearing after defeating the blue dragon already. Knowing he is immune to fire attacks for a little bit he steps up to the salamander hoping to score a few hits on it before his spell wears off.
Gabriel will draw Fuascailt and prepares himself for the attack, using the morningstar as he says softly, "Strike true my friend."
Ardo swings his mace and misses the beast by mere inches. Gabriel then steps up and swings Fuascailt but also misses.
The creature swings back at Drethen and Gabriel. Luckily it's not having a good day and misses with both his red hot spear and with it's attempt to grappel and squeeze Drethen with it's snake like tail.
Hunter fires off two shots hitting it with both arrows. As the arrows bury themselves in the red hot flesh of the salamander, they burst into flames as the shafts ignite from the heat.
Drethen deftly attacks with his sword, striking it twice and damaging it severely.
Ardo takes advantage of the beast as it reacts to Drethen's attack and manages to bash the salamander's skull in, finishing it off with his mace.
Frustrated at missing, but keeping up a strong front, Gabriel will say, "Lets hurry and get out of this hallway before the heat becomes to much." The paladin is ready to get out of there, feeling himself sweat quite uncomfortably because of the temperature.
