Excited by the fine he says, "You guys stay and rest, I will take care of this." He laughs and then examines the sword and potions while passing the scrolls to Ardo. "You'll probably know what those are… "
"Not a clue mate, feel free to read the scroll it could just be a map or another note about this stupid Amber family. I am not a mage so I can't identify magic items I can only see if they are magic."
Hunter shrugs with, "Ok then and starts viewing the scrolls… "with a sigh as he tries to figure out what they are about.
As Hunter begins examining the scroll, he begins to feel a little odd. At first, he feels like he's growing additional legs, but then those legs feel like they're stuck and can't move. Quickly, the whole room seems to grow as Hunter is soon engulfed in a amber shell.
The to the rest of the party, they see Hunter disappear. Left in his place is a large chunk of amber with a large fly stuck in the middle of it. Upon close examination, the fly continues to twitch and the face of the fly oddly resembles Hunter.
Ardo looks at the amber and hangs his head down and goes back to resting. "I hopefully will be able to deal with that once I rest a bit and pray for some more spells. I truly wish we could have found a mage to accompany us along this journey."
After resting and praying to his god Ardo takes the amber and prepares himself to try and remove the curse. "Gentleman first I am going to cast a prayer spell to cleanse the area of any harmful effect and maybe give Hunter a better chance of shaking off this curse. Then I will cast remove curse to try and get him out of the amber and back into human form."
Out of character: That is of course if we do not have any wandering monster encounters to deal with.
Gabriel watched in horror as Hunter seems to turn into a fly and become encased in amber simply for viewing the scroll. Ardo thankfully said that they should be able to fix things, so the paladin takes first watch to allow the others rest before getting such himself.
