Gabriel will see his friend being taken in a muddy hand and cries out to Ardo saying, "Noo!" Once Drethen has gotten across, the paladin will try to get on the broom as soon as it back on the other side though knew it might take a moment to get back to him.
As he waits though as he waits Gabriel asks Fuascailt, "Is there anything you can do to help until I get to the other side?" The paladin isn't sure if the weapon would be able out of direct combat to attack the mud golem, yet asks anyway. Hopefully he can move quickly enough.

Ardo sends the broom back to Drethen and then quickly summons Ralph. As he does so, the golem continues to squeeze the life out of him (7 HP damage).
Drethen quickly gets on the broom and flies over to the golem and attacks while Ardo struggles to get his mace out and swings at the creature while he's still entangled.
As Drethen drops into the mud, Ardo sends the broom back to Gabriel for him to jump on it while the mud monster continues to squeeze Ardo (7hp damage).
Ardo tries to use his staff of healing realizing that he might need its magic to live a few more rounds. "Ralph try to distract the golem if you can!"
Out of character: If I live to round 2 I will then try casting a cure light wounds.
Gabriel will get on as quickly, if also carefully, as he can despite being a little unsure if it could hold his weight, before making his way across to attack with the morningstar.
Out of Character: I will roll for two attacks.
"Did someone say they needed some arrows towards the thing?" says Hunter after losing focus for a second.
Ralph lays into the creature and takes a chunk of mud out of it.
Hunter's arrows find strike the creature as Gabriel and Drethen continue their attacks.
Just as Ardo is gasping for one more breath, the monster becomes nothing more than a pile of mud and slides harmlessly off of him.
Ardo is left gasping for breath as the rest of the party gathers around him.
