Hunter departs and the party makes ready to travel. Deciding to continue their journey skirting the Tors mountains on their way to Melkot in the small kingdom of Melkotia.
As you're making your way through a rocky mountain pass, you notice dark clouds moving in quickly. Based on your knowledge of adventuring and the out-doors, you determine that if you get caught in this pass there's a good chance you will be washed away in a flash flood.
Quickly looking around, you notice a cave at the end of a spur just 20 yards off to the side of the trail partially hidden by the rocks.
This gives you all three choices. Try to push on and reach the top of the trail before the storm hits. Since you still can't see the ridge of the pass, this option doesn't present a high possibility of success.
Try to get back down the trail which is about a mile or more down. Then, when you get to the bottom, you will still have to take cover from the flash flood. Again, not a good option.
And lastly, make your way to the cave, which should be reachable in plenty of time before the storm hits.
'Lets head for that cave before that incoming storm hits us too bad we do not have Hunter anymore we could have used some fresh game as I tire of trail rations.'
Gabriel will consider, before agreeing with the consensus that they should head to the cave after of course making sure that there wouldn't be anything nasty to surprise them with the words, "Let's see what the cave has to offer."

The storm begins in earnest as the party reaches the cave's opening. Cold rain is driven by high winds into the cave mouth for 10 feet, soaking the area. The torrent breaks loose small rocks and mud above the cave mouth, washing it quickly down to what has turned into a raging flood on the trail below.
Presently, the rain turns to sleet, covering the rock at the cave mouth with a rim of ice. It is lucky that you found this place for travel outside has become nearly impossible.
It takes a moment for their eyes to adjust to the darkness, but inside they find a large chamber with another smaller passage leading out on the far side. The floor of the chamber is strewn with an abundance of bones and refuse.
While Ardo is waiting out the storm he adjusts his back pack and looks at his possessions. Realizing he will need to see in the dark he casts a continual light spell on a coin and places it in his lantern. “Gentleman I hope we won’t be stuck underground for awhile. I have a spell that can feed us but it tastes like mush. I have cast a light spell on a coin into a lamp so we won’t have to worry about torches. If we can though I would like to take first watch at nights so I can get undisturbed rest for my spells.”.
