You clear an area above the stone door as a place to camp for the night. You're able to complete the task by dusk and everybody settles in.
The night is rather uneventful without sighting any other creatures in the area. The stone door remains shut and there's no sign of the skeletons that you all know must be waiting behind the door.
Ardo is able to use the last of his spells before night falls and has a fresh repertoire of spells at his disposal in the morning.
Even though the ground is hard, rocky, and uncomfortable for sleeping, everybody is able to recover an HP if they are down any.
Out of character: Healing will be dished out to the ones needing it most starting with Rethal and then the next most wounded which I believe is Oberon.
In Character: "Right, so shall we get started again with me with my arrows right by the entrance while the rest of you pull that door open?"
Out of Character: by my calculations I am currently at 6 of 12 hit points. I could use another healing but at half is not too bad.
In Character: Rethal wakes up still sore from the battle from yesterday but still gets up and get ready for another day. We still need someone to hold the rope if we plan to open the door again.
Delgar gets up after resting and will eat some dry rations even though disgusting its better then nothing and take a sip of water from his wine skin he will straighten up and put away his blanket and prepare for the coming battle. "Good morning all I am glad to see we made it through the night so what shall we do about this door" He will prepare to hold one end of the rope so the fighters can deal with skeletons "Ardo if we get the door open I think you should hold the other end that way Rethal and Oberon can deal with the skeletons if they are at the door and Thane can cover us with his amazing shooting skills"
Thane nods at Delgar's comment about his amazing shooting skills. He is glad that at least one person has taken note of it so that when it is time to share treasure he is given a generous cut or at least that is how he works it out in his mind.
Seeing that Rethal is not at full strength I will cast 1 more spell on him. (1 cast before sleeping to use up spells from previous day, then 1 in the morning on Oberon. After casting this one it will leave me with a single spell left for the day.) "That sounds good Delgar, it will also keep me close to the front to turn back some of the skeletons if we get overwhelmed right away."
