Delgar will also move with the group staying a head of ardo, he will try move as silently as possible and draw out his sling and load it and get ready for combat, he will also probably stay outside of the room and help ardo keep an eye out down the passage.
Out of Character: Since we are back to the original situation I thought we were in earlier (Re: curtain), Thane will implement it now (Same earlier action) after making an immediate check for traps.
Thane finds no traps to hinder your progress and as you round the corner to the room you can tell that you've surprised the three people as they are still arguing over the rules of the game.
You may take your first round of action, should you choose to attack.
Out of Character: Thane's thinking is if these are 'good' guys then he would not want to kill them just for the sake of doing so.
In Character: Using choice explicit verbs, that are probably known in any language to cause fear, Thane explains,
"We are not here to hurt you, we just want to know your purpose and who else is here. Do not do anything stupid, we are more than you."
Out of Character: Of course Thane will attack if what he says is ignored. I don't know if there is a bonus for close range or if the space is too small for bow so I included dagger rolls as well
Out of character: To speed things up in case there is a fight I have added some rolls for both a cure light wounds if needed someone gets hit bad enough and falls and some hammer throws.
"Are you crazy man attack them where do you think all those severed heads came from whatever they are up too it isnt a good thing" delgar motions for them to attack
Just to review, here are the rules for bow specialization. All others have normal bow combat in this area.
Characters who specialize in the bow gain a +1 bonus to hit at any range (Normal range penalties still apply, of course), an increased rate of fire, and a new range category: point-blank. Point-blank is any shot of 30 feet or less. At point-blank range, the character gains a +2 to damage. In addition, bow specialists can automatically fire first as a very fast action if they have their target covered. This supercedes the specialization rules found in the Player’s Handbook.
