Ignoble says...

If Thane misses Illthin will step forward and swing away. He is finally a blooded member of this team and determined to do his share.

Once the foes are down he will leave Thane to the searching and take up a position at the just inside the door so he can surprise anyone coming down the hall.

Ilthin Results:

Once the battle is over Ardo ushers Delgar into the room and makes sure no blood or bodies can be seen from the hallway. He then pokes his head out the curtain facing outside to look to make sure no one is approaching the cave while.

Drethen will make sure all are dead and the bodies moved to the side. He will then take up position at the door to protect those inside from any possible attacks heading our way.

RPG Dragons and Dungeons Edition nd Falruns

The Watcher from the Aether says...

Thane fires two arrows taking out the first bandit. Drethen steps in and fires off two more, taking out the second bandit. Finally, Ilthin charges in and smacks the last bandit with his axe. The final bandit sits stunned after being hit by Ilthin that it takes Ilthin a second to realize the bandit isn't dead yet so he smacks him again leaving no doubt.

Ardo, guarding the door, sees no activity from anywhere further down the hallway.

Thane and the rest of the party quickly search the bodies and the room finding a few coins on the bandits and the deck of cards they were using.

To Thane's trained eye, the cards seem to be worth some money but other than the table and the three chairs, nothing else is found in the room.

"So do we want to go straight or inspect the hallway on the right? Also do we want to store these bodies outside somewhere or just leave them here?"

Out of character: Can I assume this cave is well lite that we do not need torches or lanterns?

Yes, this cave complex is well lit. There are lit torches every 20' or so. However, the smoke from the torches and such cause limited visibility range for humans and disrupts any infravision. Visibility is about 30' or so.

"Let's have a very quick discussion before we go forward, we have invaded and killed people in this complex already. How are we going to handle the encounters going forward? Are we going to try and talk to people before we fight, or just jump them and get it over with. I do not believe we will get a welcoming reception now that we have killed off some of their group so I am unfortunatly for just going forward and fighting no quarter given."
