What for you is the best definition of a "Paradox"? What are some of your favorite Paradoxes? Have you ever tried making your own Paradox?

One of my favorites is Gabriel's Horn.

It is modeled by taking the 2d graph of y=1/x and rotating it about the x-axis in 3 dimensions Source 4m

Now, what is remarkable about this figure is it has a finite volume, but an infinite surface area.

Or to put it another way, fill the horn up with paint, and it contains pi cubic units of liquid (In whatever unit scale was used to model the horn, so a little under 1/4th of a cup if done in inches.) try to paint the interior however, and you will use up an infinite quantity of the stuff in the attempt.

This only really has meaning if you use some manner of infinitely thin paint, so that the space taken up by molecules isn't an issue in the extremely thin sections of the horn, but we're talking about theoreticals from the start.

Best Paradoxes Health & Special Psychology

I'm a paradox. My father's family come from an area of Greece south of Sparta called Lakonia. The word laconic is derived from these people communicate. My mom's family come from Sicily. A place with more trash talkers doesn't exist. Those two opposites war within me.

Although a secondary definition of paradox, it is a definition nonetheless. .
