Four Marines and the gunman were killed in the shootings in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a senior defense official said. The families of those killed are being notified of their deaths.
The shootings happened at a military recruiting center and a Navy Reserve center in different parts of Chattanooga, late Thursday morning.
Authorities are treating the shootings as an "Act of domestic terrorism," U.S. Attorney Bill Killian said. The FBI said all options still are being investigated.
"We are looking at every possible avenue, whether it was terrorism -- whether it was domestic, international -- or whether it was a simple, criminal act," FBI special agent in charge Ed Reinhold said. Ref. CNN
Identities are now known for the four Marines who were killed in Thursday's shootings in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
According to multiple sources, they are Carson Holmquist, Thomas Sullivan, Skip Wells and David Wyatt. Ref. CNN
It is sad to see something like this happening but the more and more that he major news stations do continual 24 hour coverage of these things we will see more people who want to make a statement and get their picture posted all over the world to see and know what he has done.
I can see more people speaking out abut guns an wanting to get them out of peoples hands. I hoe that does not happen.
The killer was allegedly trying to balance his interest in American culture and his own fundamental beliefs. Apparently he chose one over the other, they are lone wolves and can be the most dangerous of all.

A Navy petty officer wounded in Thursday's shooting at the Navy Operational Support Center in
Chattanooga, Tennessee, died early Saturday, the Navy said. He is the fifth U.S. Service member to have died as a result of the attack. Ref. CNN
